The Little Candle of NWA will release its winter collection during a Holiday Open House on Nov 19 from 11-5p in their Downtown Rogers storefront located at 112 N 3rd St.

Arkansas’s tourism industry has seen some major gains across the state, with Northwest Arkansas at the front of the charge. 

• Revenue: Tourism tax revenue for Benton County was $1.93m, up 60.1% from last year. Washington County collected $1.346m, a 40.8% increase. 
• Jobs: The monthly employment average for tourism related jobs in Northwest Arkansas was 27,350 from Jan-Aug this year, up 6% compared with the same period in 2021.

The Walmart Museum is currently under renovation with plans to develop a more inclusive, accessible, and interactive way to tell the Walmart story. 

• Evolving: The reinvention will result in a larger exhibit space, new educational spaces, and an enhanced rooftop patio.
• Temporary relocated: During the renovation project, the Walmart Museum exhibit will be displayed down the road at The Ledger.

• Map it out: The Master Plan will serve as a vision and guide for the Parks, Natural Resources, and Cultural Affairs Department’s efforts for the next 10 years. 
• Be heard: The Parks Advisory Board and Parks Master Plan Advisory Committee will meet via zoom on Nov 16 to discuss and explain the drafted plan, and the window to provide feedback will be open to the public until Nov 23.
