Art On The Bricks Holiday Edition

Art on the Bricks is happening again in Rogers tomorrow, Dec. 9, which means local artists and vendors will be gathering to celebrate the holiday season.

  • Experience: More than a dozen galleries and art pop-up exhibits will be open tomorrow. Art shows will be at multiple locations, there will be a silent auction at The ANA Gallery, and live music at Mavis & Co.
  • Giving: Donate non-perishable food items during the Art Walk and receive 2 tickets to any of 18 performances of A Christmas Carol at TheatreSquared

Crowdfunded Loan Workshop

Are you looking for a way to finance your small business? A crowdfunding organization hub in Rogers is ready to help. 

  • Support: Kiva, which started in Uganda, now has hubs all over the US including one in NWA. The Northwest Arkansas Kiva Hub is dedicated to extending accessibility to capital for area entrepreneurs.
  • Event: Kiva and Startup Junkie are hosting a workshop on Monday Dec. 13 from 6-7p to introduce Kiva’s crowdfunding model for financing small, local businesses. Crowdfunded loans are up to $15K, have 0% interest and require no specific credit score, collateral pledges or U.S. citizenship documentation.
