Shredder's Public House is a concept restaurant in Bella Vista, opened by Beth Bengs and her brother-in-law John Jensen, who have remodeled the old American Legion building located on US-71B. 

• All details covered: The restaurant has a wood-fired pizza oven, a bar with a glow-in-the-dark epoxy top, a main dining room, a bar with food service, and a 100-seat patio that features entertainment, a small bar, and a bike rack. 
• For everyone: The menu features casual items with an upscale twist, from pizza, sandwiches and salads to steaks, daily soups, and a variety of craft beer, cocktails, wines and artisan coffee.

Every year, merchants in Eureka Springs deck out their shop windows with creative themes for the town's Holiday Window Decorating Contest.

Today is runoff election day to settle several political races that remain undetermined across Northwest Arkansas. 

• Benton County: Bella Vista's mayoral race has gone to runoff, as well as three City Council positions; Bentonville will decide school district seats for Zones 3 and 5; Rogers will determine the runoff for a City Council position in Ward 3.  
• Washington County: Springdale has a runoff for a City Council position in Ward 3, and Farmington will determine its mayoral race in a runoff.

The City of Bella Vista and Trailblazers are planning two trail extension projects to provide residents with more options for recreation and transportation. 

• Onward: The Razorback Greenway Extension will add an additional mile to the Greenway, running behind Allen's through the old Berksdale South Golf Course to a new trailhead on Berksdale W and Riordan Rd. 
• Trailblazing: The Blowing Springs to Metfield Extension will add 1.5 mi of shared-use trail along Commonwealth Rd and Trafalgar Rd, enhancing safety and accessibility.

Northwest Arkansas saw the most significant year-over-year job growth compared to other Arkansas metros, estimating 292,675 jobs across the region, up 9,380 since October 2021. 

• Just hired: Northwest Arkansas accounted for 55.2% of the state's year-over-year job gains, adding an estimated 9,380 jobs since last October. 
• Jobless: The unemployment rate in NWA has remained relatively the same since last year – currently at 2% compared to the previous year's 1.9%.
