One of the latest executive orders by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders will establish the Natural State Initiative and Natural State Advisory Council to promote outdoor recreation and increase public health and tourism.

• All natural: In 2021, outdoor recreation generated $3.5b and 40,000 jobs for the state. This order aims to leverage that momentum to establish Arkansas as a leader in the outdoor economy.
• Pacesetters: Northwest Arkansas has been a leading region for the state in developing outdoor recreation opportunities thanks to initiatives by groups like the NWA Council, Walton Family Foundation, and the NWA Regional Planning Commission.

• Top chef: A sister restaurant to Blu in Bentonville, Blu Rogers prides itself on having the highest quality and purest tasting fish and seafood. Familiar with the concept, we checked out this location for the first time last week for lunch!
• Served up: We went with the Blu specials - udon soup, seasoned shishito peppers, ahi tuna salad, and the fiery whipple roll. While there are plenty of great options for dinner at Blu DTR, this was the perfect combo for our lunch there.
