A freeze is forecasted for February as Fayetteville’s coolest craft beer fest returns after a three year hiatus. Save the date, Frost Fest is Feb 4. 

• The ice age is over: The last Frost Fest was in Feb of 2020, just before the pandemic froze the show, but “the yeti is thawing” and will be back for 2023. 
• Cool party: Organized by the folks behind Fossil Cove Brewery, the festival showcases local breweries and supports local organizations with lots of craft beer, food trucks, and live music.

The average cost of buying a home in NWA has seen a steep increase, though high mortgage rates have caused a 4.3% decline in the number of home sales compared to this time last year. 

• Benton: The average home sale price in Benton County has reached $401,950, a 16.3% increase compared to this quarter in 2021. 
• Washington: Washington County’s home sale price increased by 15.8%, averaging $361,971 compared to last year’s $312,467.

Yesterday, Breeze Airways announced plans to add three new flight destinations from NW Arkansas National Airport beginning in 2023. 

• Direct: The airline will operate direct flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor and Orlando International twice a week at rates as low as $49 each way, just in time for a warm weather escape this winter.
• BreezeThru: They also plan to add the first BreezeThru route from XNA, a direct flight to Charleston with a stay-in-your-seat stop in Orlando.
